RMV On-Demand: Environmentally friendly mobility for everyone and at any time!

From A to B with the On-Demand-Shuttle in the Rhein-Main area

From now on, in addition to our buses and trains, there is even more environmentally friendly mobility in the Rhein-Main area with the RMV On-Demand-Shuttles - all-electric, digital and on demand! You can book your shuttle ride conveniently and individually via app. The RMV-shuttles take you directly to your destination or pick you up at the bus or train - reliably, inexpensively and when you need it. We have one wish above all: To make the use of public transport as easy and flexible as possible for you - especially away from the city centers.

You can use the RMV On-Demand app in a total of four areas in the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund:

- Limburg

- Hofheim

- Kelsterbach

- Idstein

The app tells you exactly which districts are included in the areas.

To join the ride, simply book a place via the app.

Heres how it works:

ENTER YOUR START AND DESTINATION ADDRESS

We will immediately show you which vehicle can pick you up where and when.

BOOK YOUR RIDE

Via app, we navigate you to a nearby stop where you will be picked up. You can follow live where exactly your vehicle is on its way to you.

PAY IN THE APP

Since the service will be integrated into the existing public transport system, your trip will only cost a small surcharge to the RMV-ticket. The exact price for your selected route is displayed in the app when booking. Here you can select your preferred payment method and easily pay each ride via app.

RATE YOUR RIDE

Once you arrive at your destination, the shuttle will take you to a virtual stop near your destination. From there, we navigate you to your final destination via app. Finally, you can give us feedback and rate the service via the app.

More info about the project:

The "On-Demand-Mobility for the Frankfurt/Rhein-Main Region" project is currently one of the largest on-demand projects in Europe. By closing gaps in public transportation services with zero-emission shuttles, the project is making a significant contribution to sustainable mobility.

With the support of the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and the State of Hessen, Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund is working with a total of ten partners in the respective service areas to implement this pioneering transportation project for the Rhein-Main region.
